This CD from singer-songwriter Don Lange features a timely remake of his anti-nuke classic "Take The Children and Run". Don was on tour in Pennsylvania when the original accident occured and had to shelter in place where he wrote the song. Also on the CD is his well-loved and often recorded "Here's To You Rounders." Included as well is a new take on the Band's classic "The Weight" and a bevy of other Lange songs which run the gamut from oil-spill disaster (Storm Force Ten), to the utterly zany (Banana Road and Got What I Wanted, Lost What I Had), to poignant ballads of lost innocence, lost love, and lost loved ones. Throw in some rockin' good traditional blues and you've got an appetizing admixture of acoustic music.
